Public apology in the mainstream gaming magazines and online community for their error would be a way forward. If you make a mistake, just admit it and try to fix it instead of basically bullshi**ing. If nothing else, at least you may earn some respect from your customers instead of resentment...


I totally agree... I'm also very anoyed and frustrated with this games inability to save progress.. makes for a frustrating and boring experience.. I'm taking my copy back for a refund......... screww this company...

Ive had to give up playing the game as I haven't the time to do whole missions. Any news as to when the patch is gonna be released.

At this point, I don't think they are going to release a patch. They already have our money and they don’t seem too eager to support their product, so I guess we are SOL. I had seen in another thread where Steve Hart said they would let us know more after E3. It’s really nice to know that the customers that have already paid for the game come 2nd. I don’t think I can put into words how frustrated I am at just how unbelievable this entire issue is. I own a business, and I would NEVER treat my customers this way! We have gotten no solid answers and the same one line generic response for months now! Most companies would recall, repair, and/or refund defective products, but I guess 505 and Rebellion are more interested in trying to gain NEW customers than they are taking care of CURRENT customers. They are laughing it up all the way to the bank!

I have also heard them say things about how expensive it is to release a patch. We already gave them money for the game, how do they not have enough $ to release a patch? We paid our hard earned money for a defective game, NOW it’s their turn to pay to make it RIGHT! And if it really came down to $$$, I for one would be reluctantly willing to shell out another $5 IF it would guarantee a fix!

I just wish they would at least tell us straight up, YES or NO! Also give us some kind of time frame or a date that we could expect a fix. This “we are discussing it” BS is getting really old! I guess we’ll be sitting here a year from now and they will still be “discussing it.”

Hi Guys,

I've just had final confirmation we are going ahead with the patch for PS3. The primary issue being the failure to save mid level, though there will be approx 15 fixes in total added to the patch.

In terms of ETA, I can't give firm details just yet as we need to book in. But I'd hope to have us releasing in approx 6 weeks time - this includes a 2 week submission process and a 2 week queue that Sony enforce.

LMAO. 2 and a half months later your releasing a patch. Hmmm How come you can't be a little more proactive? Gotta "book in"? Why? Didn't you know this was coming as we'd been telling you for a while now that your pathetic game is broken?

Why book in? Ask Sony US and Sony Europe. !!!Bizarrely!!! they have systems all developers/publishers have to abide by, almost like they're a multinational company with a massive product line-up!!! Having received confirmation yesterday regarding the patch, I can now "book in".

Our "Pathetic" game is doing just fine. A patch for this issue will mean those who don't have time to complete a full level on PS3 in one sitting, will be able to rely on mid-game saves. Good news for them!

Look, there's no reason to act like an ass... You should be glad that they're going through all the trouble to keep the community updated. And if it's such a pathetic game, why do you even bother playing it?

I'll put a list together when I get a chance. But do know we've spent some time with the audio mix and code side of the audio representation and are happy any problems people are getting are going to be hardware based, not software. I know this was one issue you'd previously had a problem with, so only fair to let you know we haven't found anything to address here.

If your referring to the save game error on the ps3 then I am sure this is what their main focus is on, wish it would hurry up though, lol.

Hi Tabttu,

The patch itself is complete. As I understand it we're just waiting on a date for submission from Sony territories. Their processes will take approx 1 to 2 weeks for approval, then we enter a queue for launch.

Happy to see a patch is coming, I was very close to getting the game, but couldn't in good conscience purchase a game with such a big problem, even though I really want to play it. Will be buying it once the patch comes out and people confirm it works.
