its simple guy's if Gamestop doesnt have it tomorow walmart will and it has the same preorder bonus but my game stop in georgia have said it will be here tomorow

This is total b.s. I took off work to play this game today, wasted that and 2 tripsof gas to go in town. Ive been a gamer all my life and have never witnessed such an F up in game history. Not cool. Better have my hands on it tomorrow. I say we all should get a free DLC in a few months from the devs. The title can be Sorry we dont know how to release a game lol

What Gamestop was this? My district is in Maryland, and this has been the topic of the day for us. We were all told that the game will be in tommorow (wednesday). typically our orders arrive late the night before, or between 10am-1pm in the morning. Although we do recieve shipments sometimes throughout the day, including the evening. Let me know what Gamestop your pre-orders at, I'll make sure the Store manager recieves the info we got.

maybe you can send these guys something too.it seems whenever i ask them their computers are the ones that say the 9th even though i received a text saying tomorrow.

Gamestop was as angry as you guys. The Publisher F'ed up on the shipping. It happens all the time, well occasionally.

Hello all - first up let us say thank you for your great support so far.

Just to clarify for everybody - the May 1st US release date was the 'available from' date, so the game is definitely shipping.

The mistake on Gamestop's system should now have been rectified - this was unfortunate and we understand your frustration.

Many stores will have started receiving stock late yesterday. It's slightly different terminology to the 'street' date in Europe which is May 4th - which is the literal on shelf date.

Many many apologies for the confusion here - but the good news is, that if you haven't got it already then you will be partaking in some awesome sniping action imminently!

Sounds like a major screw up by the publisher here, which doesn't really help them as more middling reviews come in. If the game doesn't come in until Friday, and advance reviews of Starhawk are overwhelmingly positive, then they could be looking at a substantial dip in their sales based on this mistake...

By the way, the publisher would do well to understand that when the date of May 1st has been established as the release date, gamers expect to be able to buy the game on May 1st.

This really doesn't mean anything. "the May 1st US release date was the 'available from' date, so the game is definitely shipping." So when Diablo 3 releases on the 15th I won't get it until the 19th? Nope, because blizzard/activision knows what they are doing.

Did all of their systems have the mistakes as well? Best Buy and Walmart had no clue what was going on with it, just that it was supposed to be there on the 1st.

You guys need to own up and admit that someone on your side made a huge mistake. Everywhere on the internet said the 1st. Nowhere did it say the 2nd or the 3rd or the 9th. This type of an answer is why people are completely frustrated and p*ssed off with you guys. Beat around the bush and give an answer like that.

Went in on the first, was told the 9th by Gamestop.

Later that night, got a call saying it would be out on the 2nd from Gamestop.

Went in on the 2nd, Gamestop said it was 9th in his computer but check back later in the day just in case.

Went in at 2:45pm EST and walked out with my copy.

In other words, think in the next few days everyone should be getting their copies.
