I would like to see the spray, and traces of blood on the surface (ground, walls) to come closer to reality, and then lift the body, except for a hole on the body, nothing, no puddles, no splashing around. Cool

crosshairs above the player as in the original...not sure if it can be tuned on or off in the settings?...I haven't seen any vids with the crosshairs showing...maybe it can't?

Firstly let me say I really liked the demo, and youve got my purchase for sure, but my issue is something that occurs in basically all games and that is registering foot shots. I mean the first guy who leans agianst the wall in the demo, i tried to shoot him in the foot multiple times, and sometimes their was blood but it would be cool if he started limping or something? or even if one of his friends came and tried to drag him to cover? :) but besides that game is really awesome Flapper

possible add a facial animation? i.e. showing anger/agression, shock/horror and pain etc

Good idea, seeing the soldiers with a straight face doesnt make you feel satisfactory about your kill.

I'd say the AI needs most attention for fixing, standing in front of an enemy and he just stands there is not good.

Enjoying the 360 demo, been waiting for a sequel for years and I loved the original and wass the only game on the xbox that I played online. Was tense and tactical, something missing from the plethora of online shooters these days.
I would like to add my tuppence worth though:

1) Location damage, I should be able to disable a soldier in the hope a colleague will attempt to rescue him and allow me to take him out, it's a accurate tactic used by snipers.The "injured/dying" solider seems quite random at the moment. Also as echoed elsewhere, the hit recognition seems a little off, when I discovered the joys of shooting grenades, every aimed shot either hit the leg/hip or missed completely, again the first soldier is a good example of this when trying the "ball shot"

2) The bodies in the demo keep disappearing befire I've had a chance to search them, this is especiallyy true of the 1st guy in the doorway unless you get a close up kill on him. So keep the bodies.

3) I accidently placed some dynamite, couldn't pick it up again, wrong! Unless the inventory is full I should be able to pick up un-used gear.

4) Get rid of regenerating health bar, med packs make for a more tense, harder game.

5) I get thet if I'm spotted in a building the soldiers will concentrate on that building but, when I move to some where completely different they spot me straight away, is this the German Superman Hitler wanted with super hearing and sight?

6) Someone else mentioned trip wires and vehicles, I agree whole heartedly, put it back please.

7) Multiplayer, very worried that I won't be able to play pvp on the 360, co-op is an excellent idea, but pvp in the original was fantastic.

8) In addition to call for a knife for stealth kills what about a garotte too?

9) When searching bodies how about finding things such as packs of cigarettes or chocolate, these could be left on the floor in patrolling areas with the hope that a soldier stops to pick up the item enabling a clear shot - I'm not great with moving targets.

10) Customisable pvp, ability to switch off machine guns, or whatever, nothing worse than a 12 yr old with a machine gun running through a mp map.

Last thing, apart from those who clearly love SE, there seems to be little buzz generally about the game which worries me, I haven't seen my local store offering pre-orders to get the bonus DLC and I'm worried that this will sink into the unknown but classic annals of gaming history.

It may be just the 360 version.
I first noticed it after my first kill by hitting a grenade which took out three guys, but put it down to the bodies being blown to smithereens, but no.
The sniper in the blown out attic is always gone too.
And finally the guy in section two that is looking out the window, his rifle disappears. But I'm putting this down to the demo, pretty sure you could pick up enmey sniper rifles in SE1

Mines definitely do kill people. Where the enemy is sitting in a chair listening to music, I like to stealth kill him, carry his body into the next room and drop it by the baby cot, place a mine close by, go back out the way I came then throwing a rock at the wall by the body. A soldier upstairs comes down to investigate, rushes over to the body and.....BOOM!

Also I've been placing mines along the road where the convoy goes and soldiers are always stepping on them when they exit the vehicles.

Not had this problem, I placed mines down for the kill Kriendl(?) objective, along with some dynamite. Took out 5 people in one go.

I would like to see a sandbox mode come to think of it. Just moving around the city taking out Germans, see how long you can survive. Regenerative health would need to be switched off though, or bring back health packs. It would extend the life of the game imho

Im pretty sure the mine has to actually be stepped on, its not a proximity, ive killed him using one.

I meant the land mines.

Try placing them to the right, near the sandbags of where the trucks stop after the explosion.
I placed 2 mines and 2 dynamite, the resulting explosion took out 5 goons.

it does for me and I'm on the ps3. right when you start the demo you shoot the first guy you see in the doorway, then take out the other guys down the street then come back and see if the guy you first sniped is still there.
