Hi All,

I just wanted to let you know that we don't want to see threads on this forum talking about modifications to SEv2 that would allow an unfair advantage against REAL players, our real fanbase.

I have suspended a couple of people this morning for doing exactly this. I will also be looking at ways to secure the title against such behaviour with Valve etc going forward.

Please let me know if you see this type of thread, as some of you already have (thanks to you).

I made thread asking about mods Steve so I hope I didn't fall foul of this warning. My meaning was if we would see mods to the enhancement of the game and not for cheating purposes.

For the record, until I can figure out if efforts are for cheating purposes, or for modification, the jury is out.

However continued linking to Darkmed and his community, who clearly is looking to cheat in SEv2, will result in a ban.

What has been displayed around here as skin-cheating, it is just 'small-potatoes', because one still needs to shoot straight, even if he sees the rest as lighting bulbs - there are on the roll much more effective cheaters&their_cheats, I counted 3+1 for sure until last week, one must have got into the 'cheaterhood', his friends upgraded him and now my count is 4+1 certain cheaters.
(or maybe 1+4...)

No matter who or how many are there, but what I AM INTERESTED INTO is
IN CONCRETE WHAT IS BEING DONE AGAINST CHEATERS?
... and to how many? Where (or when) can I read that '2 players were banned today from the SEV2 servers for 1 week because of cheating' or something like that?!

Any third-party modification to a game designed to give one player an advantage over the other, is classified as a cheat and trigger a VAC ban

Hi Soup,

We work closely with Valve in order to support the true fans of the game. Most of the cheats you see on the youtube videos are using a cracked version of Steam that only those who want to pirate/cheat download. This cracked version doesn't connect with Steam proper, so for the majority of cases you'll never encounter these cheats or players, unless you too decide to use a cracked Steam version.

We use Steam's tools to limit any other cheating, but we're not seeing much to be honest.

We also keep an eye on this forum for the types of threads that encourage this type of behaviour and look to ban/suspend those from our forums. Of course they can set up a new account and continue posting, but we'll continue to monitor.

I'm all for "Mods" within the community. If anything we'd try to help if we could. But cheating will kill the game online, so we're doing what we can there too.

New PC update coming very soon too BigGrin

May I ask a quick question? Are there any mods for the Single Player (Challenge Mode, as it only has 2 modes and 3 maps?), as I don't play multiplayer due to my Internet Connection being bad Angry, so, please, if there are any, please send me a link to where I can download/see their features.

Also, will there be any more DLC??? As I have Assassinate the Fuhrer, but as far as I know, there isn't any other DLC... Huh
