It's likely both the two rifles and the Kill Hitler mission will become available to people at a later date. But not yet.

It has been mentioned already that the Kill Hitler DLC and the Pre-Order Weapon's will eventually go on sale. There is no date set as of yet so patience is the key I'm afraid. They also did not confirm if the sale was only for the PC or if the X-Box 360 and/or PlayStation 3 would get them too. They will not released for free however.

but you want to make it more realistic ? most snipers in germany used the mauser kar98k very rare they used a gewhr43 although it was pretty accurate, also... they should make a realistic mode ! it would be cool:)

I am in love with Kar98k as you.in fact I love M1903 Springfield too especially for it's scope Reticle , It's such beautiful . in my game it's(Kar98K) unlocked. but don't be happy.
in this game Kar98K is just bullsh*t.
it has very good magnification for scope but very low bullet velocity that make it very inaccurate at long range. that make me depress too much. in fact now i am Forced to using mosin nagant because of it's very high accuracy at long range( due to it's high muzzle velocity). while I love to use M1903 Springfield , but may be it has a higher muzzle velocity than Mosin Nagant but very low scope magnification make it the worst choice for sniper in Long range, because an sniper love to hunt his Prey at very long range . the advantages of long range are 1st: less sound reach to prey 2nd: base on the first, harder to be guessed by prey(where the hunter is) 3rd: it show the self confidence and skill of sniper to bandits that blow them up( make them astonish & scared 4th: when the bandits are scared they will lose their self confidence and make more mistake so be came easier target for sniper & ... buy the way this situation is for real life.
Now I am forced to use Mosin Nagant. Ah.

I suggest buy "Landwehr Canal Pack", Type 99 Rifle is a Kar98k with the force of a Mosin Nagant, And autonatic.
