Try the No-DVD.exe provided by a well known illegal release group and you will have no slow or laggy moments anymore.

I bought the game on steam as well. I also had these annoying short freezes in gun battles, but I read in the Steam Forum that replacing your original exe with the one from the release group makes your game running smooth as it should be!

My game runs like crap as well in gun battles. Where can I find this exe from the release group?

Any news about the Patch? The devs where quite busy before the release talking to the community. After the release we just heard a "soon" as an answer about the freeze problems.

Please release the patch, playing the vanilla game is quite annoying with those freezes :(

I too would like to hear something, because I figured it would have been out by now. Hopefully it is soon and they aren't running into any issues.

wouldnt get your hopes up for a patch the original sniper elite was buggy as hell on multiplayer and we where asking for a patch for months. we kept getting the answer a patch will come soon but it never did !!!!

has nothing to do, in this case the game freezes in the shootings and can not play. it has to solve

you are absolutely right,if not resolve the problems of freezing in the shootings, I do not buy a game from this company anymore, I could not enjoy the game since its release because of the freeze in the shootings

I too have been unable to play the game. I switched to Skyrim lol and made a sneaky character with archery. This is only to pass the time until I get the patch that will actually allow me to play the game. I am eagerly anticipating it's release. I hope they will at least say when they send it to steam, because steam can be slow with this kind of stuff once it gets to them.
