Hey guys,

Unfortunately, I pre-ordered my PC version of the game at amazon.co.uk, and yesterday, when the game arrived, I had to find out that they don't deliver pre-order codes for the PC version.

I also had a conversation with the support, in which they later confirmed the fact that I won't get my DLC from them.

Is there ANY chance that you will release the Führer DLC later, or any other ways for me to get a pre-order Code? Of course, I can show you the bill where the order date is stated, which is the 27th April.

In the future I will double-check before I order at amazon.co.uk... That sh*t p***es me off. Really. :(

Unfortunately you're not the only one with this problem. :(

I've orderd my game in my local store and they didn't receive any codes either. I have sent a mail to 505 games, hope they will finally give me the code. I trying to get my codes since friday, but without any luck.

Same problem here... the really sh*tty part is that 505 themselves linked to Amazon during the pre-order period, and they mentioned nothing of it only being for PS3 & Xbox at Amazon. You'd have to sign up for the forum to find out about it!

505 really have tricked their customers on this one!

In the process of trying to locate DLC keygen's, that's how p*ssed I am... feel so ripped off.

Same here and at the time of placing the order, PC version was mentioned in the DLC thread as available at amazon.co.uk. After receiving it, it was obvious I wouldn't see a code. I've been in contact with several people to get a code as well.

Hey Debian - got your PM but your message wouldnt let me reply. Just to confirm that 505 Games only published the PS3/360 versions, and the PC boxed game was published by Mastertronic in the UK.

Anyway, what am I supposed to do then ? Contact Mastertronic ?

Surely not all of the DLC keys have been sold, and if you can prove that you pre-ordered the game (Me as early as 9th of April), then they should give you the DLC code. Otherwise linking to Amazon via this very site to obtain the DLC was false advertising, which is not good!

And what are we supposed to do now? Write mastertronic about this? As said, I (and I am certain everybody else in this thread who has this problem) can prove the preorder via photo/scan of the invoice etc

I got a big "get stuffed" from Amazon and was shown this link:

There was no indication on the Sniper Elite website regarding this - or anything on the Amazon website when the order was placed.

To say I'm unhappy would be an understatement and I really do hope Rebellion/505/Mastertronic/whomever can sort this out!

Wish I'd ordered through Steam now :(

I finally received my code today.

I've send several mails to my gamestore, saying that they should be given codes from the publisher.
They said that they only were given a small amount of codes and I just should be patience.

Which ofcourse is weird, because if they don't have enough codes, why should I wait.
Anyway the next day I already got my code.

So I don't know who's to blame here. The gamestores or Rebellion.

I also pre-ordered the PC version from amazon.co.uk and got absolutely no DLC or any other kind of pre-order bonus...
I feel kind of cheated now that I actually went ahead and pre-ordered the game expecting to get the Hitler DLC :(

Pre-order to get the chance to kill Hitler in a PC Game? yes-fluffybunny-please!!!

I too feel cheated, as that was a big part of my excitement in getting the game by pre-order with Amazon, as I like a boxed copy as well, else I would have gone with the Steam version which does have the DLC.

THIS ISN'T GOOD BUSINESS REBELLION/MASTERTRONIC/WHOEVER. NOT GOOD BUSINESS AT ALL.

Well, thanks for your reply. I do hope, as many others, that this get sorted out. Apparently, there are so many parties (developer, console publisher, pc publisher) in this issue that I doubt anyone will help.

I should have went with steam, although I prefer a boxed copy over digital any day.

My thoughts exactly.

I like to have a manual to read and a box to look at and put in my collection.
I'll gladly wait to play the game if it means that I can get a physical copy.
That is why something like this really annoys me (to put it lightly), because I feel like I went out of my way to get a physical copy, but then getting the shaft because of it...

If this doesn't get sorted I suggest contacting the Advertising Standard Authority (ASA), cause false advertising of this kind is infact illegal.
