When the enemy fires off a round the frames drop this seems to be the problem ! Any reason why this is happening ?

yes if the same happens to me amy, this is my pc requirements nvidia gtx 580 GRAPHICS CARD, 8 gb of ram, microprocessor 4 cores, 1TB SATA hard drive,,,,,,the game needs a patch

Yep same happening to me. i72600k and 2x gtx580s, 8 gig ram.
Every time i get into a gun fight the frames dramatically drop!!

going into my second play but just cant do it until they fix the game !! I want my next play to run without Frames jumping all over the place - I now know its something to do with Bullets and explosions in the background ! Frame rate problem only shows up when this happens !

My Sound card is Maudio I know its not a sound card issue

Same issue here. I can only play multiplayer, because in singleplayer when the AI start shooting a lot my frames drop to an unplayable level. :(

yeah since I don't like the MP I have to wait until they fix this game :(

Bizarre, I've played through the entire game 3 times, once on each difficulty level, and never had issues with noticeable lag when enemies fire, and I'm using a mere GTS 250 and i7 950 CPU with max settings. Granted my res is only 1366x768, but that is sufficient considering my display size and GPU. I've also done all 3 challenge maps once each and the Hitler DLC with no such problems.

I'm suffering from the same problem. I've looked in several other forums and there's quite a bit of people who are having this issue. If I recall correctly though, one of the developer's said they're looking into the cause of this and they'll try to fix it in the nearest patch as soon as possible.

I only hope it's gonna get fixed soon. I can't even play co-op like this. Once more than 2 enemies start shooting at once, the FPS jumps around like insane and it's totally unplayable :-(

The biggest mystery is that neither I nor anybody else with this problem had this issue in the demo. It occurs only in the full game. Weird.

This is why I must stop with Pre-orders ! I would be better off waiting until I know the game runs well . I pre-order Max Payne:3 Now worry this game will have issues !

But for now Max Payne:3 will be my last Pre-Order all other games will be purchased days after release . And your right Co-op is unplayable


Also yeah man the demo was the selling point for me !! I got it because the game ran perfect !

Well my brother uses the HD 6990 and his frames are all over the place ! This guy uses 3 monitors with BF3 or Crysis:2 on Ultra settings without missing a beat -
