1) After shooting or looking down while prone or crouched, my character stands up on his own multiple times.
2) My character is always on the left side of the screen. We need to be able to move him to the right side as well as it is too hard to look around right hand corners because we cant see because he is in the way.
3)Almost no way to get around many of their snipers without shooting them and alerting their buddies.

Yeah I wonder what the factors are to standing up while prone... Ive only seen it happen in one area really close to cover... A tiny stairset near a ledge sized wall I cant recall what level but I believe its on ground level on the right hand side of the second overwatch mission.. Ill check next time I play but its a tiny area.

Also happened in coop campaign.. The mission where you take out the enemy sniper team from the rooftops in that first building you start in.. Usually play on sniper elite so two possible factors coop, sniper elite mode. Try those areas Steve. Goodluck.

Sorry, to be more clear I meant the building with torn walls on the rooftop.. I dont believe I was near stairs. Though I believe there are some.. Maybe the area to make the player stand is a bit large in that area.. Thats my guess anyway. I had to sell this game and a few others to make a few bills otherwise id check for you. I have plans to repurchase, but in months ahead.. Hope this helps.

XvI just got the game and am finding this no-prone bug to be frustrating. It doesn't seem to matter where I am, if I am laying down when I pull the trigger, I stand up. And then can't go prone in that spot again unless I move from the spot. Also, if I move from the spot then return to it, I can go prone again with no problem. Unless I shoot again. This only seems to happen when I shoot at and hit a target. This wouldn't be a big deal if my intent was to be a bullet magnet in a shooting gallery.

I was a huge fan of the original and still have it on the old Xbox. I am now playing the new game on the PS3.

Is there any fix in the works for this issue?

How dare You imly that this game has bugs? 505 and Rebellion will rain sulfric acid your game couch! This game is perfectly fine.. You are just bad gamers that are so exited everytime you get a shot away or a killcam hit You squeeze your gamepad so hard it makes your little "shooter" stand up..

No just joking.. actually it not a bug its a feature, the namless character we are playing (no he is not Karl Fairburne)is so happy after getting a kill that he decides to make a victroy dance..


(My namless character does the same from time to time.. but mostly when close to stairs,windows,dooropenings,sloping surface.
